Beau Is Afraid: Ari Aster's agoraphobic odyssey

One thing I love about most movies that come out of A24? You have to expect the unexpected. Even after watching the trailer about ten times I have no idea what's going on with this movie- and I don't need or want to. It's visually stunning, super weird, and somehow looks equal parts terrifying and comforting. Joaquin Phoenix barely says anything in this trailer and I can already tell he's going to knock it out of the park- though that's never really in question, is it?
