Asteroid City: sci-fi out of time

A star-studded cast, a beautifully saturated Kodak color-palette, a story that looks like good plain fun, and, as always, Jason Schwartzman. Wes Anderson is adding another jewel to his crown with Asteroid City, a zany sci-fi that Scarlett Johansson took a hefty pay cut just to be a part of.

There are few auteurs whose style is as easily recognizable yet completely irreplicable as Anderson's, and in a world dominated by the franchise and IP machines, any new release of that is certainly something to be celebrated.
